Even though I'm more than a month behind in travel posts, it makes me happy to revisit the photos. Copenhagen was supposed to be my last stop in Europe until I decided on a last-minute day trip to Sweden and until my flight was canceled-- but more on that later.
One clear evening we walked along the harbor and had pizza at Gorm's (another one of Jenna's great recommendations). At first, they didn't seem to have room but within a few minutes, the sweet waitresses decided to sneak us in between reservations. Like every ground floor in Copenhagen, the restaurant is below ground level and feels like a cozy, candlelit basement. We enjoyed white wine and shared pieces of each other's pizzas and made it out in time to see the sun begin to set (at 9pm!).
