I shared some photos from Ireland before, but I just got this film back last week. The textures and colors are just so different in this medium. The light in the Trinity College Library is blowing me away. So soft and golden.
These are extra special because they're part of my inaugural roll using my step dad's Minolta. They mean so much more.
Dublin was a whirlwind. I was there for almost two weeks and only have these to show for it. It felt like I was rushing through each day and as a result, the collective memory is a blur of small moments and reunions with so many people I love: seeing old friends, finally meeting new ones, trying real Guinness for the first time (yes, it is better in Ireland but no, I still don't love it), trying real ginger beer (my new favorite), brunch at Lennox Cafe, stumbling upon Farmer Brown's, flat whites, colorful doors, learning fish bowl, remembering I have "an accent," golden hour along the river, SO MUCH green, and visiting the library of my dreams.
